Which rate is right for me?

Low- and middle-income country rate

For participants whose organization is based in a country the World Bank classifies as low-income, lower-middle-income or upper-middle-income.

This includes Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh and most of Africa, Latin America and the Middle East.

Check the World Bank list

High-income country rate

For participants whose organization is based in a high-income country, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, EU member states, Australia, Japan, Singapore and South Korea.

If you work from a country office in a low- or middle-income country, register at that rate.

Student rate

For full-time students at any level, in any country.

Please register with your institutional email address or bring a valid student ID to check-in.

We trust participants to choose the rate that reflects their situation. If you’re unsure, email gdhf@techchange.org.

Ticket FAQs

I submitted an abstract and haven’t heard back. Should I wait to register?

No need to wait. Register at the rate you qualify for now. If your abstract is accepted, you’ll receive a speaker registration link, and if you’ve already registered at a higher rate, email gdhf@techchange.org and we’ll adjust it.

Standard pricing ends November 20 regardless of abstract decision timing.

How does speaker registration work?

Accepted speakers receive a registration link with their acceptance email. You don’t need to register through this page.

My organization is a sponsor or exhibitor. How do I register?

Conference passes are included in your sponsorship package, and your TechChange contact will send registration codes for your team. Additional passes beyond your package are available at a sponsor rate.

To learn about sponsoring GDHF, visit the Sponsor & Exhibit page or contact Sheerin Vesin (sheerin.vesin@techchange.org).

Can I register a group or pay by invoice?

Yes. Organizations registering five or more people receive 10% off and can pay by invoice or bank transfer in USD. Email gdhf@techchange.org with the number of people you’d like to register, the countries they’ll be travelling from, and whether they’ll join in person or virtually. We’ll prepare an invoice for your organization.

If your organization needs us to register in your vendor or procurement system, or to submit supplier documentation, just let us know. We’re happy to work with your existing processes. Invoiced registrations are confirmed once payment is received.

I registered and can no longer attend. What is the refund policy?

If you request a cancellation on or before October 31, 2026, you will receive a 50% refund, or you may transfer your ticket to a colleague.

From November 1, 2026, tickets are non-refundable but can still be transferred to someone who has not yet purchased a ticket.

To request a refund or transfer, email gdhf@techchange.org.

Do I need a visa to attend GDHF in Bangkok? Are there visa supporting documents available?

Many participants will. Please see here a GDHF Letter of Invitation template to support your visa application. Download the template to edit and add your personal information.

Thailand updated its entry rules on September 15, 2026, and many nationalities, including most African countries, now need a visa. Our Visa & Entry FAQs cover who needs a visa, how to apply for a Thai e-Visa, yellow fever vaccination requirements and the Thailand Digital Arrival Card. If you need a visa, we recommend applying by November 1, 2026.

Entry requirements can change at short notice, so please confirm the latest guidance for your passport with your nearest Royal Thai Embassy before you travel.

Does my ticket include a hotel?

No. GDHF has arranged a room block at Centara Grand at CentralWorld and nearby hotels. See the Hotel & Logistics page for rates and booking details.

Is financial support available?

GDHF offers a limited number of scholarships for in-person participation. See the Scholarships page for eligibility and deadlines. Virtual participation is free for anyone based in a low- or middle-income country.

What happens after I register?

You’ll receive a confirmation email and an account on the TechChange Platform, where you’ll find the programme, speakers, networking tools and virtual sessions. The platform opens to registered participants in November.

Are there document templates I can use to justify my attendance to GDHF?

Attending GDHF in person is the perfect way to gain new knowledge, meet like-minded professionals, find new partners, funders and vendors, expand your skillset, and expose yourself to new perspectives in the digital health sector.

Our team has created a toolkit of easily customizable letters and worksheets to help your manager understand the benefits of your attendance.

  • Letter to your manager: Use this customizable letter template, including a budget overview, to help explain and justify your conference attendance to your manager, employer or donor.
  • Benefits Worksheet: Use this worksheet to create a custom list of the benefits you and your organization will gain from your attendance.
  • Post-conference ROI Worksheet: Use this template to take notes on sessions, record key takeaways, and identify action items. These notes can be used to estimate the return on investment and create your conference summary for your team.
